The countdown is on with just 70 days until the start of summer! This means you have 10 weeks left to plan your beach holiday escape. It might sound like a long way away, but between work and home life you’ve got better things to spend your down time doing than travel research. So, we’ve narrowed down the top 5 most stunning beaches that you need to explore this summer!

Psarou Beach – Mykonos, Greece

The buzzing, party island of Mykonos is not short on amazing beaches. However with it’s iconic white sand and stunning clifftop coastline, it’s easy to see why Psarou Beach takes the cake! Traveller’s heading to this coastal gem can look forward to swimming, snorkelling, and learning to dive in the crystal clear waters. Above water, you will find a great selection of seaside restaurants. This beach also offers plenty of space space to dock yachts, making it the perfect stop off on your Greek Islands sailing trip!

Pakleni Islands – Hvar, Croatia

This cluster of 16 islands stretches out from the coast of Hvar and offers a variety of beaches, each as stunning and unique as the last. The largest of the islands, Sveti Klement, is home to 3 small beach villages. If you’re travelling by boat you will arrive at Palmižana, a busy marina in the middle of a relaxed, sandy horseshoe bay. Palmižana is an excellent spot to call home for a while as you explore the nearby beach islands. Get lost in the idyllic lagoon beaches of Marinkovac, or experience a unique culture in the clothes-optional beach at Jerolim!

White Bay – Jost van Dyke, British Virgin Islands

This spot was listed as one of The Best Caribbean Beaches to Visit by Forbes Magazine this year, and it’s easy to see why! White Bay’s stunning white shores attract a flock of yachts each summer filled with travellers ready to swim, sunbathe, and party their summer away. However, don’t be worried about overcrowding! White Bay’s expansive coastline ensures there’s enough room for everyone to experience the beauty of BVI.

Tropea Beach – Calabria, Italy

This small, peaceful enclave is the Calabria region’s answer to the more famous shores of the Amalfi Coast. Ditch the crowds without sacrificing the beauty this summer and explore this well kept Mediterranean secret. The historic old town, filled with traditional bars and restaurants, encircles this gently sloping beach. Head to Tropea for a less touristy take on the stunning Italian coastline.

Kata Beach – Phucket, Thailand

This relaxing beach combines all the key elements of a great Southeast Asian sailing trip. Swimming, surfing, and partying! The white-sand shores divide clear blue waters and stunning green mountains. Spend your day at Kata swimming, snorkelling, surfing, or jet-skiing before retiring in one of the many surrounding restaurants and sampling some of the fun nightlife. With so much variety, Kata is an excellent option for groups travelling together.
